true or false, has Stutterfly been dropped from their label?

It's hard to say. I've heard rumores, and you can't find Stutterfly on Maverick's website, but stutterfly.com and their myspace say that they're with Maverick.

I just thought I'd add this.
No one wants to admit that their band got dropped, and if they hadn't don't you think they would have set the record straight by now?
As well, the re-release of Broken In pieces... is done on The Elysien project. not Maverick.
